THE OLIVE HOUSE
located at 113 N. Olive was in the middle of the University of Arizona campus. First rented by Peter Hubbell in the late 1950’s, it was home base for a disparate band of students, former students, aspiring students, and hangers on.

Music. in addition to a heady mix of home brew, wit, humor, anti-authoritarianism and the burgeoning political and sexual revolutions, brought us together and kept us connected, even when we lost touch.

Roger Mikulas

With a sad heart we make it known that one of our most recent pledges, Roger Mikulas, passed away in December of 2010. Roger and his wife Kathy Harris became the second and third pledges of the Olive House and were inducted in 2007 at the summer get- together at Rita’s digs on Pontotoc Rd. They proudly joined longtime pledge Fred Beeston. Although new to the Olive House, their hearts, attitudes and music fit right in and would have easily fit in at 113 Olive Rd. in the 60’s. We will remember Roger lovingly and look forward to Kathy remaining an active part of the Olive House.
